I really like this title that was for famicon
"Getsu Fuuma Den"
It takes place in hell and the last boss is Ryukotsuki.
Fuuma is a Samurai that eventually will meet against Ryukotsuki but has to fight bosses before that.
In the picture he has already defeated Decapiclops, which is the cyclops samurai head, which is why he has been crossed out with blood and the next highlighted enemy is Oxocutioner.
The game has great music and you should give it a try if you get the chance.

These bosses can also be seen in a game for PS3 and Xbox 360 called Castlevania Harmony of Despair in Chapter 11.
